Me and about 10 of my friends were eating at the local diner. We left around 11:00.We were walking around enjoying the first nice night in awhile. Some cop pulls up and tells us that we are in to big of a group and we need to split up. We were a little confused about it at first but we said whatever and did so. Me and my friends that went with me took 2 guys home then met up with the others again about 20 minutes later which made 9 of us.The same cop comes up sees us together again says we are disrespecful to the law for getting back together after he left. We ALL get slapped with a 160 dollar fine for being in to big of a group past 11!!!!!We were not causing trouble at all just kinda hanging out. I live in a rich smuck of a town so people here are pretty much good for the most part. Not to many touble makers. My dad is a US Marshall and he said he never heard of such a rule.Has anybody heard of this rule? Is this a rule in your town?
Were you breaking curfew? If he gave all you a fine it has to be a law considering it would have to be noted on the citation or whatever form you get detailing the incident.

Well that sucks. It's not a law in my city. If it were and happend to me im sure my family would move.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In Conneticut the have a law where you cant ride bikes in in a group.</div>That brings up a memory. 2 years ago my friends and I got mad at some old geezer selling icecream on his bike 'cause he refused to give us this ice cream for 2 bucks. He said it was sold out...Another customer comes and buys the exact ice cream we wanted. So we got very angry...We went on our bikes and circled him. There were about 5-6 of us circling him. He then stopped on his bike and said he'll sell us the ice cream then he also added he'll call the cops if we ever do it again. We got the ice cream, went back to our friends yard and laughed our asses off.
$160? that seems pretty harsh. I've never heard of that, especially since you said you lived in a rich town. I wouldn't think a cop would think of any gangs or anything.
What day was it on Balla? I know your under 18, you it could have been a curfew. Our rules in Oklahoma for someone under 18 is Sunday-Thursday 11 aclock, Friday-Saturday 12 aclock. You guys payed for something you didnt even know about, Fight the Power BallaWhen I was 16 I got Park Curfew, 85 bucks, but I had to go to court. You cant be in a park here past 11 no mater how old you are

Lol, I have never heard of that rule. What does having a smaller group have to do with not getting into trouble. You can still cause trouble with two people.I know it has nothing to do with this, but it involves a cop and I feel like saying it,I have a friend that got pulled over for drunk driving. He had his temps at the time and some old lady called the cops on him for possible drunk driving, the cops pulled him over. The funny thing was, he wasn't drunk. When you get pulled over for drunk driving and you aren't drunk, that is when you know you aren't a good driver, lol.
