The Jets have missed the playoffs the past two seasons. They have a new general manager (John Idzik), a coach on the hot seat (Rex Ryan) and a quarterback competition between a second-round rookie (Geno Smith) and one of the most inconsistent four-year starters in recent memory (Mark Sanchez).

Still, Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill is predicting what few are.

"Oh yes definitely, we will be in the playoffs," Hill told the NFL Network, before adding, "and deep in the playoffs."

Hill, 22, was selected in the second round in 2012 out of Georgia Tech, but was limited to 11 games in his rookie season due to injuries, while the Jets finished with six wins, marking their lowest win-total since 2007.
