QUOTE

Antoine Wright knows he isn’t Vince Carter, but he also knows that with #15 still down, he has to play the best he can. Part of the reason why is the confidence he gained last summer in Las Vegas and part is the motivation he gained from not having his Nets’ contract extended. By season’s end he hopes to be “in the best situation I can possibly be in.”

He's played great this season and is one of the reasons why we are 4-4 and not something worse. He has shown his true potential this season. Hopefully, he just gets better and better.

Haha, thanks. Some unnamed posters like to see Netsdaily get the recognition they deserve.

With Carter out, he needs to step his game up a bit more. I'm actually surprised to see this kind of article after it's become obvious he's only been good the first few games playing off of Carter.

I'm happy to see him struggle after he made us look stupid for not reupping his contract. Maybe we'll be able to afford him next year.

I'll confess, but it has nothing to do with NetsDaily getting recognition. The issue isn't where you are getting the links from, but the descriptive blurb that you are cutting and pasting at the top. I believe you've said that you're still in high school, but it is never too early to get into the habit of crediting sources when you quote somebody. Don't get me wrong; I think you provide a terrific service by posting the links at netsdaily (although I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't just go there as soon as they wake up in the morning), but the best approach is either to write your own summary paragraph or credit NetsDaily for theirs. If you get in the habit now, it'll become second nature when you get to college, and then (maybe) grad school and the real world beyond. There's nothing wrong with quoting someone--my feeling is that there's no reason to do something that someone else has already done--but right now there is a witch hunt going onfor people who quote or paraphrase another source without proving a cite. You don't want to get into that habit, it's not worth it. You're clearly more mature than the average high school student (probably more so than I was), and you are obviously also pretty bright, so I figure you'll understand that my point is not meant as criticism, but just encouragement.

^ Yeah thats the reason why I quote ND in certain situations. While the link is collected, the blurb and description is an original piece by the site, and should be quoted to avoid plagiarism.
