    He has rejected ANOTHER offer from the Dodgers.

    Why do I get the feeling he is holding out for the Yankees to make an offer?

    He opted out anticipating a 4 year deal. Don't be surprised if he ends up with the Cardinals.

    I don't know why teams won't give him a 3 year deal. I think he'll still be productive.

    Pujols wants him and he just recently said he would think about leaving the Cardinals if they don't make a commitment to winning. That would be scary Pujols and Manny.

    The Cardinals have new ownership and they might want to make some headlines by landing Manny. It also would appease Pujols and give the team a chance to compete for a Championship. The 1-2 punch of Manny & Pujols would be electric.

    Shape that rumor is out of whack. They aren't going to pay him more than A-roid.

    Boras sent the same offer back to the Dodgers..2 years, 45 million but with no deferred payments.

    It would take a lot of this media circus away from ARoid by signing Manny. The Yankees have a lot of cap space still and both Damon & Hideki are off the books after this season.

    They wouldn't pay him that much, I doubt that rumor. Where did you hear it? There is going to be media surrounding A-roid anyways, I don't think overpaying drastically for Manny would change that.
