Yandle gets a 6th and a conditional 4th. Vesey gets a 3rd. Yeah, it made sense not to trade Yandle at the deadline. Fire Gorton!

I have no idea what Gorton is doing. Personally, I think the guy is smoking crack. He's insane with his moves.

It's not even July yet. Let's see how the rest of the offseason goes.

Giving up signing Yandle is setting up bigger things.

Obviously the situation didn't work out but resigning Yandle to a long term big money contract would've just compounded the problem.

Without getting rid of a big contract on D it made no sense to also resign Yandle to a long term contract. Just sucky situation because i would have rather kept Yandle than say, Staal.

Considering what they gave Arizona to get him, anyone else think they got a great return? Oh boy.
    Gorton fits in perfectly. lmfao

I thought Yandle played very well, but probably wasn't utilized as well as he could've in terms of the pp. It's the price you pay to go for it and they had a solid chance in 2015. I don't think Duclair will be a 30g scorer or anything.

Duclair was barely 20 last year and already put in 20g on a crappy 'Yotes team. As he and others like Domi develop he should easily hit 30 someday not too far away.
