    Nova will have to get it wired, throw strikes, put some folks on their cans in conjunction with the offense improving performance when scoring opportunities arrive. Would also be nice if the "also rans" in the pen can contribute.

    Here are some numbers for you.......................

    Gardner battered 208 in August, & is hitting only 188 in September. And is currently 4 for his last 35

    Headley is batting 147 for the month of September & is currently 2 for his last 31 with 13 strikeouts.

    Rodriquez battered 153 in August & is hitting only 226 in September. And is currently 6 for his last 34 with 16 strikeouts.

    4 hits in 3 IP, 1 BB; not really good, that would come to 12 hits over 9 innings....but he is masterful at times, painting those corners, ......

    He's getting hit to much tho'.......4 K's,......this is a nail biter of a game.....IMO....
