The New York Yankees lost to the Tampa Rays by a score of 6-2. C.C. Sabathia started and got the loss.

At the start of the game they mentioned Johnny Damon’s home run total for the year. The obvious reason he has a lot of home runs is because of the wind tunnel.

Even though the Yankees made silly errors in this game, they made a highlight reel double play in the first inning that went from Cano to Jeter to Tex. It was awesome.

In the second inning, it seemed like Michael Kay was hinting that Scott Kazmir took steroids. I wouldn’t doubt if Kazmir did. I wouldn’t doubt if anyone did.

When Jeter made a throwing error in the second inning, he didn’t jump up and do his patent jump and throw to first. He stopped and planted his foot. That surprised me.

After Carl Crawford hit his triple in the third inning, I was wondering what would of happened if he didn’t jog to first base before he started taking off. He might of had an inside the park home run. Then Crawford deked out A-Rod with a fake attempt to run home and that forced A-Rod to make a bad throw. Crawford scored anyway.

Jason Bartlett did a Derek Jeter jump and throw when he threw the ball to second base to get Jorge Posada out on the fielder’s choice in the fourth.

What a dopey fielding play by Nick Swisher in the fifth inning. He’s just a dope. He slid towards the line and dropped the ball and just made a dumb play.

After Gabe Kapler hit the ball to Johnny Damon in the sixth inning, I knew he would make it to second base because of Damon’s weak throwing arm and the way Kapler hustled out of the box.

Barlett ran to first base to beat out Tex to get a base hit and I thought it was a smart way of running because he ran through the bag and he didn’t slide head first. He was safe.

Then the fool Nick Swisher made another dopey play in the outfield in the sixth inning that allowed another run to score. I’m getting sick of this guy.

Can you imagine Kazmir finally pitching a great game and it’s against the Yankees? Just our luck, huh?

The Yankees made base running mistakes, throwing errors and mistakes in the outfield. You can’t win every game though.

Player of the Game: Scott Kazmir. Pitched like a Cy Young winner.

Disgraceful Player of the Game: Nick Swisher. This guy should just give it up. He makes dopey plays in the outfield and looks like a nitwit doing it. Not only is the way he plays a disgrace, but a nightmare.
