Girardi's boy Drew is back in there again & geez why the hell would you have a guy that's hitting 132 over the last month in the 2 hole?

    Is there a CC?
First two months are gone, time to start establishing SOME kind of pattern or consistency......of course this includes being consistently inconsistent.
(amoung a couple of other possibilities)

If he throws a "good" game tonight, he's back in the positive mix and we wait again for his next turn and a temporary sigh of relief.
If he stinks up the place tonight the vultures may snap to attention.
The time has come, time to fill in some "blanks".

That's how I see this CC thing - at this point.

    Go Yanks!

Gregorious getting a night off (Drew), AND Pirela getting another start at 2b.
Acceptable to me.....we could be seeing Drew in his new role as the backup SS/2b with Pirela getting a long look at 2b.
Acceptable for tonight - unless we want to release Drew immediately and dig up another backup SS/2b?

I think it's significant that Pirela is starting again at 2b.
Want to see what he can do, and not just in a game here or there.
    Play this kid!

I don't get it, when they just showed Hernandez in the dugout he was wearing his cap like a grown man with the bill of the cap perfectly lined up to the middle of his forehead. Yet when he's on the mound he goes with the stupid childish goober look with the cap tilted sideways.

Yankees get a gift run, compliments of the blind umpires who didn't call Gardner check swing (went to far) strike 3, prolonging the inning that led to a Teixeira's RBI double. Seattle's mgr & catcher were ejected.

CC lasted longer, deeper & even looked "Ok" most of the time, I'd say for 5.2 IP, CC looked better than He has so far this year.... 6's - K's, 2 Earned Runs, 2 BB's...., 9 Hits given up. 94 Pitches, 62 for strikes......no long balls......
