Which Pineda will we see today. Joe needs to issue "Caution Extremely Flammable" shirts to his mid relief bull pen guys.

After last night, I do not expect much. They just squander
    too many chances.

Girardi should leave betances in the pen with a 5 run lead and get thru this game with other guys before beatniks arm falls off

Christ girardi you needed to put beatniks in with a 5 run lead in the 8th. When his arm falls off you'll be the reason. This is not a betances needs situation

I missed the game but looking at the box score I see Pineda was taken out after only throwing 85 pitches while having a pretty good line. Did he get hurt or was Joe just over managing again.

Joe completely overmanaging again. Should have gone 7 and not waste bullpen. Now miller being brought in with 2 down, 2 on and a 5 run lead. Way to go overhanging and burning out your only 2 reliable guys joe. Can't wait to see them miss games in toronto because MOTHER JOE will not thrown them 3 days in a row.

Using 7 pitchers including your set up guy & closer in a 5-0 shutout, holy shit, yeah just as I thought.....over managing.

Yankees need every win they can get. Girardi can't trust that bunch of flammable morons in the pen s I can see some of his moves. Christ Martin was about to shit the bed when Miller went in. Because of the rains down here I was two days behind so I score checked todays game. Did notice on one check that Pineda had two on with one out. I shut off the game went back to work and prayed. Other than Tank and Sevy there's not much trust in the starters. With Biggie pitching tomorrow they'll probably have the pen on notice. I heard Syndergaars nick name is Thor, glad to see the Yankees shoved his hammer up his ass today. Fuck New York National.

I see that Pineda was throwing a 4 hit shutout on only 85 pitches in the 6th inning. I missed the first 7 innings, how bad was Pineda's injury?

Rick who said he was injured?? You can check out Pineda's and Girardi's postgame comments on Yesnetwork.com. Girardi simply said he felt it was time for him to take him out.
