...f' ARod...like I said the other day, A "comeback" from something he himself created should NOT be considered a comeback. ...Edited...ooops...I mistakenly left out the "not".
Lol, gone 4 days and I come back to F Arod (deja vu). Left Monday for StL (via Denver), Wed morning to Minneapolis (via Chitown), then Wed afternoon to Seattle (via Denver) and Thursday night back to San Diego (via SanFran). Ron I tried but the Mariners just won't take ARod back, I even offer to throw in a giant back of cheat-os!
...I don't suppose you set your Dobes on them, did you?....hey, think about it, even if they don't cave in a take ARod back, it would still be funny to watch.
I just found out that Ellsbury had someone call Meredith last night before the game and told her there is nothing wrong with him and he is 100% healthy and wanted to play. So there you go. Girardi wanted to "REST HIM" and lied to us on the pre-game. as per the Michael Kay Show.
There will be a split doubleheader Saturday 1st game is at 12:05 pm with the second at 7:05 pm as scheduled.
Thanks Lillie, lets hope the rains hold off long enough to get either or both the games in. It'll also be interesting to see what kind of lineup they put on the field with the regs resting.
It's not on the Internet yet, but Michael Kay said it in the beginning of his show that Meredith called him and told him that had happened. I don't think that she would say it on the air during the game last night.
...something is fishy...something does not add up. ...supposedly both Ellsbury and Headley were held out of last nights game because of back issues...Ellsbury is still listed as " day to day" and was also questionable for tonight. ...I don't think they can flat out lie about something like that.
I'm not sure of mlb rules. I know you get in trouble in the NFL when it comes to injuries. That aside I don't see what would be gained by Girardu lying about the day off and then Ellsbury letting the cat out of the bag.
