The good news is that Tanaka is way ahead of schedule for a return & could have a minor league start as early as next week.

KC with the early 1-0 lead on back to back doubles in the first.

A tough line up of what 5 or 6 .300+ Hitters, and the "Moose remains loose".....

I can't stand the mechanics of this KC pitcher. No torsion, no twist of the upper body, just a duck to the left, and throw over his body, away from his body when he delivers a pitch......

Not the best way to get a Pitcher's full body into his arm velocity, speed and strength....

Arms will hopefully get back and be effective but it's not going to matter as long as the bottom half of this lineup remains complete trash.

Why did everyone except Cashman know Headley wasn't any good? Guy pulled one season out of his ass and has been nonsense for all the rest.

Young hands out free stolen base passes, unlike any stats of a Pitcher I can recall, unreal........

Triple & a sac fly makes it 2-0

And through 3 innings after striking out 16 Pineda has zero tonight.

The Moose has definitely been loose, and the difference in this ballgame......

I don't get how any offense could be fooled by a light throwing SP, with no zip on his fastball, and they're still swinging late......how do you swing late at a 86-88 mph fastball???

Reminds me of Mike Boddicker, without the arsenal of junk pitches Mike had, which Young does NOT have. WTF????

...I was never on board with the Headley deal, especially not for the years he got...Prado was a much better option.

The scoring drought continues, did notice our old buddy Hughes is screwing his former team by being on the wrong end of the score to the Rays. When it rains it pours, but don't worry, Cashman will soon reveal an upgrade to his plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe the game one explosion in Tampa is going to lead to four straight losses.
