    DH - Rodriquez
    1B - Teixeira
    RF - Beltran

CC, head out of ass, God Damn that would be news!!!!!!!!!!Our only hope is that the Yankees can whack Simon like they did last year after the all star game. Diminished line since that time though. Despite being a good team the Tiger Pen is not that good. Could be some hope. A split would be nice. Always remember '06 when the Yankees arrived in Detroit banged up missing Sheff and Deki and took 3/4. Then playing the Tigers with a full deck in the playoffs they got their asses kicked. If Cashman wants to curry favor lets see if he can master mind a trade that sends Gregorius to Colorado for Tulo straight up.

...hopefully CC can make a solid start, in spite of himself.

No Michael that wouldn't be enough, though it would really pain me to lose him we'll even throw in Drew. Yeah I know.........................I'm crazy.

That game that Simon pitched and lost for the Reds against the Yankees gave Brandon Mc Carthey his first Yankee win. Why he was not retained instead of Crapuano is another one that got by me.

Michael I recall reading somewhere where the Yankees offered McCarthy only 2 years at approx $20M. The Dodgers just blew that out of the water with 4 years @ $48M. No way the Yankees were going to go anywhere near that & I agree.

I am not hopeful on CC in Tigerland. Yankees are clear underdogs
for this series. What mirror will Girardi use?

Damn, probably missed Hot Stove when that went down. I do remember conversations on the board though about a two year deal for B Mac. And yeah I'd have to say that 48 and four is ridiculous. Funny thing is everyone wanted Lester, now that he's a Cub the book is out to run on him, don't remember that gig when he was in the AL. I know it was Cashmans "Plan" to wait for next year when there will be a prima crop of pitching out there. Stupid fuck had Greene under control ah shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far Lester is (I believe) 0-2 with an ERA over 6

Well, I'll say this much, CC's last outing was much better than one of Boston's best SPs, Rick Porcello.
    How 'bout THAT?

Yeah, I know.....we don't care about what other teams do....after all, the Yankees are playing in a vacuum....it's the Yankees playing in a division with four other Yankee teams.

Sometimes I think I'm conversing with programmed clones.
    Same tired old sh!t.

I'm torn on CC. Part of my hopes he continues to fail miserably so the team has to make some hard decisions regarding aging vets. Now this goes completely against my core beliefs and support for the team. However I can't help but think that short term pain of CC losing would lead the team to a better state....addition by subtraction.

Then again this assumes that mgmt has the ability to replace him with a competent arm...like the ones they traded away or neglected to resign.

    ...lol...Captain Irrelevant strikes again;

...wtf does Porcello have to do with CC? ...are the Yanx facing Porcello?
...wtf does CC's last outing have to do with tonight's?...was he facing the Tigers in his last start?

...and you, of all people have a lot of gall using the term "same old tired shit".

Good to see CC pitching well but the offense not doing too much.
