Red Sox swept these Blue Jays 3-0 scoring 29 runs on 46 hits. Yet, Yankees will face Jay's best
starter in Stroman. Yankees need to get healthy on home cooking, but all depends on the pitching.
    Give 'em hell!

The AL East gap is widest with Toronto & Baltimore behind the top three. Baltimore at this writing is losing to the Brewers. Boston draws Texas tonight though the line is on the Beaners we know anything can happen. And the Yankees draw the last place Jays. and as Cage posted face their best starter. If Tanaka can keep the team in the game I'd give the Yankees an edge. Marvel mystery as to how the Yankees have kids for all positions but 1st Base, and somehow keep Headley out there. I just hope this group will find a way to start winning again. .

Mike ford at triple A is doing well and yanks should be giving him a shot up here already.

Am I the only one that thinks the Yanks should be doing a much better job in getting their young stars tutors to speak the english language already. I'm sick and tired of listening to the god damn interpreters. Guys like sanchez and severino among others for instance have been in the system for years and also someone like tanaka who has been here for 3 years learn the english basics so they can talk for themselves in an interview.

^^^THIS has been a pet peeve of mine for quite awhile....because of the libs our kids are now required to take Spanish in our school systems...while these ball players come to the states to make megabucks but don't even bother to learn the English language.

They work here, are paid well to do so, they could not make that much money playing ball in their " home land" so yes they should learn the language. When I was a one hundred dollar a month PFC stationed in Japan I got off my ass and learned to speak the language. As my overseas areas changed I made adjustments for where I was. I will admit to having a very poor attitude to learning Viet Namese.

Unf'king believable the bullshit Carter displays on the ball field. The more Girardi puts this clown
out there, the more frustrated the fans become. What a waste. For a 30 year old athlete, he drags
    as if he were 45!

Cashman, you are an idiot for bringing him back.

Tanaka did his job and kept the team in the game, need some more runs because we'll probably see dumb and dumber in the 8th & 9th.

I'd hope a woman would never have to endure her man possessing a dick as limp as the Yankees offense>

Cannot believe they can't get any more hits against Jays' staff! Ridiculous!
