Yankees recalled RHP Johnny Barbato and optioned Chad Green to Triple A. This leads me to believe that Severino will be starting in 5 days.
eh- say what??? Johnny is going to Barbado's, ...?? Which Johnny??? Johnny Carson, Johnny Bench.... Damon?? how's Johnny getting to Barbados?? oh I see Chad Green is taking him there....
My wish for the Yankees would be to beat the shit out of the Boston team at every opportunity and deny them a trip two the playoffs. That would make my heart pump purple piss for Big Sloppi because he was denied post season play in his final season.

I think its either the carbon monoxide fumes from those Forests Fire's, OR- I sniffed too much JP-4 Jet Fuel, when I worked....? I alway's look like this, - - 'til I've had a pot of Coffee....or 3.....
That's way too much caffiene for me, I don't like Coffee but if I did drink that stuff, I would be bouncing off the walls. Btw have you heard anything from Rick??? He has been MIA for a long time, hope he's okay.
Yep they have to, they should get Severino back in the rotation ahead of Green for (hopefully) the rest of this season. He's still their best young SP and has already shown last year he's capable of being dominant. He's a very significant factor for the Yanks in the near future.....I think we all know what it means for the Yanks if he realizes his potential as a SP. Barbato made the team out of ST but got banged around a bit earlier this season with Yanks.... and then struggled at AAA but he seems to have rebounded "lowering" his ERA to 3.44 at AAA while still averaging a K per inning. His pitching line earlier with the Yanks was kinda quirky... while he certainly "earned" his 5.54 ERA, most of the damage came when Boston got him for 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning. Prior to that he pitched 9.2 innings allowing 3 runs with 12 Ks and had pitched 13 innings with 10 hits and 15 Ks when he was sent down. He's certainly worth taking another look at....I rather watch a 24 year old learn the ropes than some "established" mediocre re-thread. Barbato was one of the players protected along with Ben Gamel and Rookie Davis INSTEAD of the immortal Chase Whitley. Gamel 24 yrs old hit .300 last year in the minors and was hitting .300 this year at AAA with 17 SB and second on the team with 20 doubles. Rookie Davis was used to acquire Chapman from the Reds. I don't think Whitley has pitched yet recovering from arm surgery. Just for chuckles- I seem to recall a couple of objections and criticisms towards the Yanks for "losing" Whitley while choosing to protect those three players instead. Did Tony Massarotti have an opinion on that one?
Good to see that Girardi did not go to his black book and play A-Roid who hits very well against Colon. I just think The Cheat is being shown the exit .............any day now.
...^^^I don't see any reason to wait...just get it over with. ...I just saw a video of an over the phone interview between Michael Kay and Hal...Kay asked Hal about the possibility of releasing ARod and Hal claimed that it has not been discussed...sure Hal, whatever you say. Does he really expect anyone with any cognitive thinking to believe that BS?
I'm pretty sure the boss has phoned in from the grave on the matter, that's how well discussed this topic has been .
I think he's on the campaign trail with Trump as the Donald's official ball washer. Rinse, rinse, scrub, scrub.....
You ARE a bit on the naive side. Judging from your politics, it's not surprising. Did you expect the owner to spill his guts concerning such a high profile situation?.
