Just to be clear I meant retractable roof, never a permanent roof. Only to be used when it snows, rains or is too cold.

I've also been to the Astrodome, Kingdome and Olympic Stadium. All 3 were by far the worst baseball experiences I will ever know. I've not been to the Trop or t/old Metrodome, yet all 5 were/are such pitiful stadiums, its hard to even watch a game at the trop, and/or those aforementioned venues; jokes of ballparks.

I've not been to the retractable roofed Skydome; but have been to Enron/Minute Maid Park. The latter is actually a helluva stadium with its retractable roof, allowing one to see the stars, breath the air et al.

Being a bb purist imho, includes not extending out a season to be played in football weather. It's downright painful to watch any MLB athlete (less Bosox) playing in near freezing weather. With injuries already a prevalent factor in MLB, one would think freezing weather would be an issue with the MLBPA. A problematic MLB money over sport issue imo. As well as diluting down MLB with over-expansions in years past. Even with expansion clubs, AZ, Miami buying W.S., while expansion drafts allow new teams to be competitive from inception, yet still dilutes down the overall talent pool.

Never would I want to see a Permanent roof over YS. A retractable roof would serve its purpose, but imo would never be cost effective...

Here I try to escape mediocrity as an Orioles fan and the O's take a 5-3 win. Oh well, 150 plus games left.
