Remember the starting time kids..... RHP - Ivan Nova, (No record) VS. LHP - Cole Hamels, (5-5 2.96 ERA) Over looked in this series so far that have seen the Phillies score 22 runs in the 1st two games both resulting in wins is that coming into Yankee stadium the Phillies were a league worst 7-28 on the road. Go figure. Today's lineup...... CF - Gardner 3B - Headley DH - Rodriquez 1B - Teixeira RF - Beltran LF - Young C - Murphy SS - Gregorius 2B - Pirela We better not get swept by this team.
...before the season ever began there were a lot of people who didn't have a "warm and fuzzy feeling" about this Yanx roster and their chances for success...they still have the opportunity to claw their way back but they will have to make some "adjustments" before that will happen, IMO. ...but at this point?...yeah, "fools gold".
Wouldn't I fkn know it, Kim has a MRI appt. at game time........my fkn luck this year, with Yanx games too often sux.........!!! I don't own a DVR either, that's alright, its not 1998-2000.........those games were all recorded.....can one say VCR/VHS....... now a dinosaur method.......
But maybe that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world as it might wake up the Brother's Grimm and get a GM capable of putting together a quality team and then actually making the moves to be just that... And keep in mind, I live in the Philly market and would have to hear it daily...
Philly is a perfect example of holding on to veterans a little to long. Utley, Rollins & to a lesser degree Howard whose best years are WAY behind him.
Yanks are currently very much IN this division race. They will - IMO - make "adjustments"..... what those adjustments will be, and whether or not they will work out is why we play the games/schedule.
Another ump falls asleep and potentially misses a big 3rd swing on the check and instead of saying oh shit I blew that one compounds it by throwing girardi out while he was taking a drink of gatorade. I hate these incompetent rabbit eared motherfuckers. I guess they can't review that as it would be about the 2 millionth call reversed already this season by the incompetent boys in blue. Wonder how many their allowed to miss before they get their asses suspended or fired.
I think for girardi that was the final straw of the after effects of the yankee staff getting their balls bombed off the last 3 games including the last 2 to the putrid phillies
Good. Keep these asswhole Umps honest. I am personally tired of watching too many opposing rookie/young players getting the benefit of the doubt on close pitches.....be it hitters or pitchers. Go out there and let them know your alive and paying attention.
