More than any other, Tampa is the one team I hate to see the Yankees lose to. Line tonight is on Tampa Bay, time for the offense to break out of that Seattle slump, take kick ass and take names. LaMahieu and Urshela, big contributors on small ball offense and big time defense.
Wouldn’t it be nice (that) with all the focus on Rays’ Tyler Glasnow and his 6-0 record & 1.47 ERA that Domingo German pitch a better game and beat the first place Rays. Oh, the will to dream may become a reality. Let’s Go Yankees!
LeMahieu -2B Voit -1B Sanchez -C Frazier -RF Torres -SS Andujar -DH Urshela -3B Maybin -LF Gardner -CF
Best all around cowboy & Yankee MVP since the beginning of the season IMO is LeMahieu. Dude shows up and contributes on both sides of the game. When ever he's in there one can be confident that the party will get started. In that vein Urshela, Voit and Frazier are right in line.
Too bad Yankees do not have healthy lefty batters against righty Glasnow. A “ righty lineup” feeds right into Glasnow’s strength. Maybe if the Yankees can make him ‘think’ while he pitches, they may have a shot at beating the Rays. Glasnow claims that he was ‘thinking’ too much on the mound which caused his past problems.
The guy who caught Albert Pujols 2000 RBI refused to negotiate a return for the ball. He left with the ball took it home- saying he was going to give it to his unborn child. Now the ball cannot be authenticated and it is not worth a dime. Only in Detroit. He cited some indifference with tigers management. That indifference cost you dearly guy- you really call yourself a fan???
Per an article I read this AM Pujols was pretty cool with things. Stated that the players played ball for the fans, guy caught the ball and was using it as an heirloom. IMO the guy was a bit of an ass, I'd have given Pujols the ball with congrats.
Lopez of the Marlins gives up 8 Earned Runs to the Mutts in the 1st inning. On a pace for a 72.00 ERA...
Note to Cashman & Boner: You got to put Andujar on the midnight train to Scranton. The man needs a bit more seasoning before he is ready.
