    Now get hicks and headleys asses out of there and the rest of the lineup I'm good with.

    Don't know how long it will go for but I notice lately Hicks is starting to produce a bit at the dish. Maybe he's figuring he has to compete with young guys rather than herd old goats!

    ...yup, but supposedly the "plan" began during ST last year...and there were moves since then that were contradictyory.

    ...I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that other teams know that he's terrible at the plate...and so, he's getting better pitches to hit because they're pitching to him.

    Of course there's always the slim possibility he could just be getting a little better than what he's showed so far.
    Stranger things have happened with a 26 yr old who's never had more than 352 ABs in a season.

    ...I'm just glad that after so many years of mediocrity due to bad moves and contracts, I can hopefully now find at least ONE player that really makes me want to watch.
