Yankee hitters will, have their hands full if you measure that Rays' pitching has kept them in their games.
Rays' hitters have been smash mouthing all year how good they are. Time for Yankee starters to silence
them..........and continue a winning home stand.

It's a big series for sure. In these four game sets I'm usually happy with a split. Thankfully, it's a home series.

Despite the pitching matchup the line is still on the Yankees. Those who are not hitting up to par need to sack up and play harder. Meanwhile the Red Sox are matched with our new friends the Kansas City Royals also on the rise in Division & Wild Card Standings.

Memo to Cashman: reminded of this from a Joel Sherman comment made on MLB tonight. I don't like Sherman but on this the truth was spoken. Two years ago today the Yankees were in first place while Toronto languished around a .500 record. At that time the Yankees were 2-4 against Toronto head to head. While you Mr. Cashman did nothing Toronto picked up Tulowitzki and Price. End result the Yankees we4-9 against Toronto the rest of the season. When the Yankees were swept at home by Toronto your First Baseman commented "Bump in the road". Yankees finished behind Toronto and were one and done in the play offs. On the eve of this important series, I hope you are not sitting on you ass or resting on your recent White Sox Trade Laurels.

...have not heard any more news on the Yanx being in on both Gray and Alonzo...Gray makes sense but Alonzo does not, unless of course Headley is being traded.

I've seen the Gray Alonzo rumors but on day four of the final week no action. Moving Headley in a trade would be awesome but who would want him ditto Ellsbury.

Per MLB Network the Dodgers announced that they are confident that either Gary, Verlander, or Lynn will be a Dodger by Monday! Curse MLB Network for not showing the Rays Yankees game in this area.

See that Tampa traded a minor league pitcher to the Mets for Lucas Duda. Can't believe that the Yankees let Archer off of the hook.

Sanchez with a bomb, he and Judge need to pick up the homerun rate and lead this club by production.

Longoria: gotta buzz that guy, Yankee Pitchers have been letting him get too damn comfortable at the dish over the years.
