I"d be surprised to see the Yanx win tonight. They've got to be shell-shocked, embarrassed, going down as allowing the Worst Ass Kicking in Hiistory of this storied most revered of Rivalries, to these corksuckers...

I can't imagine hearing get over it, that is History, no shit it is and it will never escape anyone's minds, fans, players. I can hear BaBoone now, "now boys that was a fluke, let's go out and show 'em tonight what Savages we are".

Sure you gotta get over it, but this was a ball breaker, a bat shoved up the Yanx asses. I take my hat off to anyone who can make a difference in this game. Hope for the best; prepare for the worst...

Paxton who has a 3 - 0 record against these RedSux.....but has shown little of late....still has a tall task
to beat them again. A baseball player just does not get over the drubbing this team took last night. It is
almost as if Yankee starters need a psychiatrist to drain their brains of foreboding pitching experiences.
To say they may be shell-shocked would definitely be an understatement.

I have never witnessed Yankee starters as a group not be able to go 4 innings. With each passing game
not one of them is capable to stop the bleeding......especially against good teams. Boston continues to
score at will even when they lose. Can “The Big Maple” make last night’s fiasco go away? Here’s hoping.

After two pitching performances against the RedSux, Tanaka’s ERA is 40.50.....this alone should
warrant that he never pitch against them again. To be truthful, the way Yankee management understands
pitching, my guess is that Boner & Trashman ignore the facts and let Tanaka pitch against them.

The offense has carried this group long enough. It's time these starters got some pride. Not one starter right now with an ERA under 4. That's unacceptable.

    Tanaka 4.79
    Happ 5.23
    German 4.03
    Sabathia 4.50
    Paxton 4.20

Things to doubt about with this '19 Yankee team

    1. The ability of Boner and the Child to run the overall game.

    2. The ability of starters to do their jobs and hang for 6 innings.

    3. The ability of relivers and closers to do their jogs in clean fashion.

I got really pissed when Judge failed with the bases loaded but hung in there until Romine was called to pitch. I wonder how Boner explained that game. Did see Boners comments on Tulo, not convinced the accolades he spoke were sincere the man spoke with his head down avoiding eye contact. I'm sure long time Yankee Fans remember the '80 season. Yankees had an 8 game lead then were swept by Baltimore for 3 at the stadium. Upon returning to Baltimore the Yankees lost 3/5 to the Orioles at Memorial Stadium. The Yankees got help later from Billy Martin & the A's who took 3/4 against the Orioles. Yankees won the division by three games but were swept by KC in the playoffs. This king of shit happens that's why all games are important. In '15 Cashman made no moves while Toronto acquired Price & Tulo. Toronto swet the Yankees at the stadium with Texeria commenting "bump in the road" Yankees lost the lead and the Wild Card Game. So when shit like last night occurs those thoughts come to mind along with Fogarty singing "Bad Moon a risin'

I feel hungover from watching last night's game and I do not drink.
Mentally drained and worn out watching that game. I can't imagine how the Player's feel mentally and physically. Of course they're are 40 years younger than I am, and rebounding from a 116 year historic loss will be interesting to see.

At this point it would take Vince Lombardi or Billy Martin to get inside this team's head and turn their noses around.

I'm not a huge fan of Joel Sherman but his comment that tonight is the biggest start of Paxtons career is right on target. If he can't get it done tonight there's not much to look forward to.

    Another pathetic game last night-
Both the Orioles and Angel's used 10 Pitchers each in a 16 Inning game.
    The lowly 34-69 O's prevailed.

Ausmus is another deer in the headlights Mgr much like BaBoone.
A long game vs the O's? Then lose to 'em..!!

Glad to see Maybin back in there. However, I have NO faith in these pitchers or pitching coach to figure this descent into oblivion out any time soon.

See your 5 and raise you 10 on Maybin and the pitchers. Cashman my get another pitcher and maybe he may have success but if the rest of this staff continues to fail every 5th day it's all for naught.

As a person on this site has mentioned when this team has “tweedle dee & tweedle dumb” manning
the helm, the outlook for this team may be good through a long season, but when it comes to crunch
time, all the bad details come to the forefront & thwart any hopes this team had. The GM may talk
the talk, but it is apparent good pitching lacks on this club.

You get the feeling when listening to Trashman (that) he is selling his accomplishments and not the
core needs for this team. He will always pay more for player mediocrity.....Let’s see how good his word
is when it comes to Clint Frazier. It’s unreal how Yankee management will not put this guy on the
40 man roster. Trust Trashman.....not in a million years!
