Michael it's ok to keep the original quote, I got it; we get it. In this day and age when one's innudated with politcally correct bullshit, it's ok to not conform to bs conventions, as time changes such, i.e. when we were young we were gay and knew no harm. I need a light for my Fag...

Kick some ass was for the enemy, a war chant prior to combat. Lick some ass, what any G.I. would due with a weekend leave. In my eyes, the Bosox have always been pussies, so yeah let's lick some ass and say we didn't....:smiley-marinesalute :devilwink: :cowboy: or let's lick some ass and say we kicked it....

At recess when kids got ready to throw down back in the '50s you'd hear "I;m gonna lick you good, to which the typical response was "you couldn't lick a lollipop. Its one of those idiom things that people face when they move around a lot. Same as that expression call me a c--k sucker I'm from Virginia. Pussy is referred to as cock in that state. I fault my keyboard for misspelling the word KICK so yeah lets KICK some ass.

    ^^^^ I can relate- (**)
NTM- since the K and L are right next to each other on the keyboards, it's a conudrum waiting to happen.

(**) I can't really say where I'm from when people ask, I never lived anywhere long enough to say I was from anywhere, but did pick up a southern dialect as a kid. Enough so, when we finally moved to Ca at age 14, I was put in a speech therapy class; which my Mom was infuriated over as I was also; and She put an end to it, destroying the principal & speech therapy teacher in the process, "Can you not tell a southern boy when you hear one".

In the last 48 yrs, I've lived here all but 42, and Southern Cal is anything but Southern...
so when people ask where are ya' from, my answer "The USofA"...

I like Bird but I'm beginning to think he's got more defects than a new Chevy. We aren't hurting with Austin out there though!

Stanton performances remind me of an old Sinatra tune called "All or Nothing at All"
