RHP - Nathan Eovaldi, (12-2, 4.26 ERA) VS. RHP - Ervin Santana, (2-3, 5.66 ERA) Lineups to follow...... CF - Ellsbury LF - Gardner DH - Rodriquez RF - Beltran 1B - Bird 3B - Headley SS - Gregorius 2B - Drew C - Murphy
I was thinking Friday's game was a day one, not today's..... If I'm lucky I can see the next hour of it, then I may have to go......aw shucks.....
Looks like most of the Fans who had tickets, forgot the game was a 1 oclock start. One thing I've always enjoyed about living on the Left Coast, is just that: One can watch MLB from 10 am to 10 pm, same with College Football.........(my 2nd favorite sport, while NHL comes in a close 3rd)...... Roll Tide Roll
I think Eovaldi's time with the Yanx, have not only allowed him to find his A game. Correct a couple minor tweaks, but....... How many runs is Nathan Averaging, per outing, (from his team-de Yanx) anyone know........????
Rick, do you know how many runs Eovaldi has recieved on the avg. per game??? I'm guessing about 5 or 6 runs, it seems like, which have allowed him to pitch deeper into some games, than others........
the Yanx need to hang onto this kid, I too think he's got what it takes to make the roster next year, and have a damn fine career.........he is special, IMO.........so is Severino.........!! The 2 best moves Trashman did NOT make, calling up both, in lieu of pursuing more trash..........
7.2 Rob. 2nd in the league behind the Blue Jays Hutchinson (also 12-2) with 7.8 run support, of the Blue Jays. And his ERA is over 5.
The Kid just threw a 99 mph fastball, followed by a couple off speed gopher killers, then gives up the walk...... Does he rely on his Fastball enough?????? Not in my opinion....... One of MLB hardest fastballs, and He doesn't live and die by it......until one proves they can hit His FB, and then use the off speed junk.......
