If Lillie can't turn the tables for this team, I know I can't. But something unique has happened
this season............there were about four games this year where the team was losing going into
the late innings. I decided to turn the games off and go off and sulk. The next morning I checked
the box scores and each time they won.

So, in short........turn the damn game off and check the box scores the next AM.
It may be bad for Yankee ratings but who really cares at this point?

Then again, what percentage has this team had a comeback victory......4 out 35? LOL

...Yanx are dead last in the AL and 29th out of 30 teams in all of MLB with RISP (.225) ...with a starting pitching staff with an ERA of 4.70, needless to say, that's not a very good combination.

...speaking of pitching, Eovaldi has been demoted to the BP.

Beltran in the two hole??????????????????Where is Goober (Ellsbury) stubbed his toe I guess. Given Tanks recent performances I'd say the pitching match is even. I agree, Go Yankees, they pretty much are.

...that's Girardi's diplomatic slant but let's face it, Eovaldi has earned his "demotion".

...hard to figure out what Eovaldi's problem is...I mean, hell, he's got the stuff but he also been very uneconomical with the number of pitches he throws.

Yeah they are winning but they should have more runs for the 16 hits they've gotten. Stranding a lot of runners, way too much of that this season.

Tonights baseball humor, the Bostons are on the wrong side of a 7-2 score at Fenway bottom nine. If the game holds Price will be the losing pitcher.

Boston falls to 3rd place in the AL East, Yankees with a season high 19 hits and only 8 runs so far.
