The New York Yankees won over the Los Angeles Angels by a score of 6-2. Yankee fans, did you see Phil Hughes pitch? Did you see what he did? He served the Angels a heavy does of cutters, curve balls and breaking balls. He CUT the Angels. He CUT them down! HE dictated the game, HE brought order to the Yankee universe by showing he is the fifth starter, HE was the mastermind behind this, this masterful performance! Hughes didn’t accomplish any small feat. The Angels are a professional baseball team and he only gave up two earned run in five innings. Wow. That’s unbelievable. He was the officer of this game. The administrator, the commander. He commanded the Angels and they complied. He said, “Take my hand and swear eternal loyalty. KNEEEEL before General Hughes!” HE’S THE GENERAL! The Grandy man had two triples but the star in my eyes was Robinson Cano with not only one. Wait a second, let me get my bearings here, not only one, but TWO home runs!! Mammoth home runs! It was one of the greatest things I have ever seen. I can’t believe what I watched. Words can’t describe it. It was incredible, fabulous, breath taking and more. Yankee fans, what a night. Yankee fans? Welcome aboard. I hope you had a great time watching the Yankees triumph. They are a team that TRIUMPHS! They TRIUMPHED the Angels! They TRUMPED them! It was like a card game where the Yankees were the dealers and they were DEALING!! Yep, are you sick of hearing it yet Yankee fans? “Yankees won.” I’m not. I’m going to say it again… Yankees won.
