Need Gil to find his dominating form again after a couple of off games. JD DAVIS batting cleanup is a joke. At least Boone finally benched Gleyber and said it was performance related. You know BaBoone looks at analytics and that’s what makes up his lineups. He has ZERO feel for the game on his own which was shown in the Atlanta series. He came back from his kids graduation and IMMEDIATELY fucked it all up with his shitty moves. I am happy to say I’ve watched minimal amounts of their games because even when they were on fire you could see that the top 3-4 were carrying the team and everyone else was going along for the ride. Now the line up is so awful that even the best players can’t cover for them. My dead grandmother could steal a bag on Trevino, which has been an issue for years now but everyone forgot about until Boston remembered and abused him so now everyone is. This team needs an ENTIRELY new infield outside of SS. OF is set. Starting pitching is good, but cracks are showing. Bullpen has been a smoke and mirrors job and now they are getting exposed. This is essentially the EXACT same team from the last few years that crumbles under pressure because they are led by an owner, GM and manager that are clueless twats.
Pretty much a top heavy lineup and a top heavy pen. The predictable Stanton injury when he was actually producing could be overcome if Gleyber, Rizzo and DJ weren’t useless.
Note to Trashman -- Ben Rice is not another Don Mattingly, hell, he's not even a Kevin Maas; ànd JD Davis is not equivalent to another Anthony Rizzo...!!!
