Cole gives up yet another HR...sigh.

Any Yanx fan who's OK with mediocrity needs to raise the bar a lot.

I don’t want TRASHMAN to do anything at the tdl besides trade and get gio back to play third and a reliever. If he trades jones he should be fired on the spot. In a couple of weeks we’ll get Stanton back ( who knows for how long) and the Martian. That will be good enough for at least the WC and then you take your chances. Also, our schedule is pretty easy in August. Keep the faith. I still want to fire cashman and Boone but our braindead owner is in a coma and just sees attendance figures and chicken baskets.

If Hal had any balls he would fire Boone tonight. This is an absolute embarrassment.

I don’t think this is remotely all Boone’s fault. Frankly, I blame Cashman more because he has been completely ineffective in building a roster that can get them over the hump. One of the highest if not the highest payroll and they haven’t made the WS in what will be fifteen years. The roster is weak right now but they need to do something to shake things up.

Yeah, the streak of over .500 seasons is great. Boone overall has a solid record as well but you can’t be blinded by this stuff. The Astros and Red Sox have owned them in the playoffs twice. Even the Rays knocked them out as well. The 2017 heartbreaker is the closest they have come. I just cannot believe they went from first to fifth wins and the best record to this mess.
