Good deal... Although I've never heard Yao say anything negative, EVER, I think he's truly excited about it...

how can yao say that when francis was the one to welcome him to america and show him around? francis always got him the ball, but cato and mobley etc. always took it for themselves. francis should stay!

Because it's business. Contrary to Francis, Ming is saying the correct things regarding this trade.

The duo of Yao & McGrady looks great on paper, and things should get interesting once we see them play together.

[IMG] Probably because he might still be a little rusty with the English.

I take it as you're new to site, so you don't know what you should do. The avatar you are using is made by me and rightfully mine. Now, if you remove that, I'd be happy to make you a different one.

That is a solid deal for both teams because TMac wanted out, and the Magic got depth in return and still have the first overall pick and the Rockets got an alien of basketball who can score in any way possible. Add him to Yao and you have an unstoppable duo and i don'd think egos are gonna get in the way of this team (Shaq n' Kobe).

What up Trip, im new to this site, you make avatars?

ADubb80, true there won't be any ego problems coming from Yao, but will there be one from Tmac? Can he handle being the 2nd scoring option? He has to understand the franchise will NOT be him. The future is NOT him. It's Yao. This is a whole new basketball world for Tmac if he comes here, he would actually have a legitimate big man to play along and he HAS to give up the ball and like half of his FGAs (28.1 FGA / 48 mins!!!! #1 in the league with AI being in 2nd place with only 26.5FGA / 48 mins).

I'm anxious, worried, happy, sad, all clumped together. Anxious to see what the new season will be like, worried if Tmac can adjust himself playing next to Yao, happy with the great possibilities of them becoming the next Kobe/Shaq duo, and last but not least, I'm sad that Francis is leaving [IMG].

We need more nba starts the smile, keep their mouth shut, and do their job well. Yao is doing the right things.

exactly. Thats why I was sad when David Robinson left, and thats why I don't like Kmart AI and all those hot dogs. The spurs are the team that shows up and don't talk trash at get into trouble and all that stuff that isen't basketball. Yao is that to.
