Yao is officially back. Its a shame that he got injured because if he hadnt he should have garnered some MVP consideration.

Hello, everyone!I'm new here though I've haunted here so many times, and I enjoy reading your professional comments and analyses! Since I'm a fan from China it really delighted me to see that Yao named player of the week for west! But there's also sth annoying me---why Yao can not cut down his number of turnover?! why he can not dominate the games even though he got high score ? And it seems to me that he will never be able to dominate the game as someone expected ,and he will never be able to win the champion or Mvp (as someone expecting), but it just suffices to drive me nuts to watch his passionless palying and he did the same damnble turnover over and over ! So my qustions is ,had Dream or Sharq experienced the same thing in their career(forgive my ignorance)? When can Yao or Can he improve his ability to dominate the game literally? What's your opinion?what do you think about it? (forgive my English)[IMG]

Dont worry about the English, man. As long as you try, I understand what you're saying. I believe Yao is still a young player and will improve. The injuries have slowed him down a little bit, but come playoff time - expect him to dominate. You said that he might not be able to win the MVP or championship, you're totally wrong. It might not happen this year, but think about it - if Yao hadn't gotten injured, or T-mac, the Rockets would've had Yao playing on MVP level, with a much better record because we wouldn't have lost those games where T-mac was out. So an MVP type player with a good record = MVP trophy. We just need a healthy team for that to happen.

As for a championship, you've got to stay patient. They dont come by so easily.

EDIT: Oh, and welcome to JBB. Its cool to have someone from China.
