Two years I think, but its obvious we're going to give him a contract extension.

Yeah, I think the practical answer would be "it doesn't matter" lol

We most likely will lock him up long term this summer. It'll be interesting to see how much he'll be signed to though. Is he worth the max if he will only get 18/8 for the rest of his career?

well i would think that we would keep him no matter what because of what he has broguht to houston, he has brought ou tthe chinese community here and i would htink that with him leaving it would dissappoint many people int eh area, not to mention our little economy that we have here. but i doubht that all he would get his whole career would be 18/8 as we have all said before once he gets comfortable and more experienced in the league and his condition and foul trouble is good then he would be a very productive player that we have on the team and along with mcgrady we could be an unstoppable force, this year was their first year playing together as a team and teammates and they have done quite well even though yao has been producing as well as he should but when they gain more experience together as a teammates they will understand each other mentally and will be able to be a very good combo, with that in mind i hope the team doesnt change as much next season as it has this season.
