This is gonna be one of the most boring NBA Finals in history. Spurs are gonna sweep this sh*t quitely.
How is this going to be a boring Finals? LeBron, one of the most exciting players in the history of the NBA is in it. I actually enjoy watching the Spurs play too at times. They play team ball the best out of any team. I think this will be a fun series to watch. Too bad I had to work tonight and only caught the last 5 minutes, which I enjoyed.
Wow Game 1 Boring?Yes it was actually quite boring.Game 2 better be better or else il get bored and eat and become fat.seriosly the cav's played poorly tonight, they can do way better and I mean wayyy better and LeBron James isn't all that great after watching tonights game.. I mean michael jordan or kobe or ray allen or anyone wouldn't consinitly suck for most the game so I hate it when there saying LeBron is going to be great like the best there ever was untill he can show us a little more, say good things when he's doing great things, sorry but his offense was just terrible even if he was shut down tonight, he can do better. On the other hand tony parker player very well, he gets those layups so easly.. it's so boring to watch that.
Cleveland just played badly tonight. I don't think this finals will be boring, but it'll get going soon. Hopefully Sunday in game 2.

If Stern wasn't retarded and screwed the Suns over, this would be an exciting finals. But yes...this year's finals are going to suck.

He's done so much crap this year and throught the time he's been the commish. Suspending Kobe and Amare for bs stuff, it's crap so he gettin wat he had comin.

I agree with Pronk, I don't understand what you still see in him Cavsrule. He just doesn't have a shooting stroke and just plainly isn't a PG. Hughes hasen't shown anything since he was on Washington. Cavs should've signed Micheal Redd or Ray Allen rather than going with Larry Hughes.... Hughes especially didn't deserve the money he got.

I've been a fan of him since day freaking 1. No way in hell I would give up on him now, no way in hell. Hughes' shot hasn't been with him, it's tough for me to see him night in and night out shoot and miss. Hes game is pretty much going to the hoop, but hes been hurt more and more. We need Larry the most in this series, but being hurt isn't going to help us at all. He isn't killing this team, but he wont help us in this series because on a bad foot and speedy Parker.. It just doesn't add up. We couldn't get Ray or Redd, we had to settle for Hughes. And if we didn't get Hughes, James would've left us. Hughes does deserve that money, not as a Cavalier. If the guy was still in Washington he'd still be putting up great numbers. But, changing offense[we don't have a offense], new coach, new team, being hurt, etc. Its still no excuse for his shot being off, but just saying, it's tough to jump in and being hurt a lot doesn't help either.

Gibson is obviously a bigger factor now than Hughes, and starting Hughes over Gibson is hurting the team.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CavsRules @ Jun 8 2007, 12:18 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Eric Snow needs to play more minutes.</div>Fixed for you. Eric Snow needs to get more playing time, he's the only guy that would have a chance at slowing Parker down. I don't even think Snow played at all in Game 1, and that is absolutely ridiculous. He's your best defensive player with Hughes playing at about 60%, and it made no sense to me last night when he got no playing time.

Hughes takes shots before every game, so hes good enough to play the 1st half the game. Mike Brown wont bench Larry, either way. But it's not like Sasha has done anything great, even though he did alright last night.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ Jun 8 2007, 01:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Fixed for you. Hes defense is much needed to slow down Parker. Tony runs the Spurs, we stop him, we got a GREAT chance in winning the game. But the problem is, when Snow is in the game we can't run plays on offense because he can't shoot. Which is why Mike doesn't throw Snow in the ballgame unless this team is in a big need for defense.

The way he's been playing lately, it would be stupid not to . They should still start Hughes, but just cut down his playing time. If it wasn't for Gibson, the Cavs might not have been in the situation they are now, ahd he's just been continuing where he left off against Detroit, with the hot shooting lastnight.
Gibson should get more minutes, and I think Mike Brown is going to give him some more in game 2. We need some offense, if LeBron and Boobie can get going we might be able to steal game 2. I honestly think we can win all 3 home games, so if we are able to win game 2... We could win this series. But the Spurs are going to be a tough team to beat, home or away, no doubt. I still got the faith in my Cavaliers to pull this one out.
No CavsRules..they don't need some offense..they have plenty in James. They need to do what they do best and control the boards/play good defense. Gibson doesn't "need" to get more minutes. It's Eric Snow that needs to. Gibson had one night where he was in a zone and he's gonna get ripped up by Parker just as badly as Hughes. Eric Snow can stop Parker and that's how you beat the Spurs. Not with Daniel Gibson being your 45 minute, offensive hero. Does it matter if you're scoring if you can't stop the other team?
