And, of course, we can fast forward 10 months to next offseason, with the Bulls already committed to $65,494,288 in guaranteed money. That's including Jimmy Butler's team option and Rip Hamilton's $1m buyout, but doesn't include Taj Gibson's qualifying offer (let alone massive raise) or the other roster 'charges' for empty spots. The luxury tax is likely going to stay around $71m, so potentially brace yourselves for something horrific like Taj walking or Hinrich being the starting SG in 2013 or both.

How would you feel about Taj walking and Hinrich being the SG 2 seasons from now?

Well, I'll wait to see how Kirk plays this year before worrying about next year.

I wouldn't like it if Taj walks. I suppose it could happen. It does sound like they'd rather trade Deng or Boozer or both, before that would happen.

The Bulls guy from Truehoops or ESPN chicago has said all off season that Boozer will be amnestied after this season.

Taj will be 28 when his next contract kicks in. Are they going to want to be paying him top dollar when he's 32 or 33?
