Have you seen the video of another person opening a bottle of mouthwash, swishing it in their mouth, spitting it back into the bottle and putting it back on the shelf?
The Fred Meyer over in the Gateway area now has the makeup and personal care section all walled in and you need to pay for those items at a tiny check stand near the entrance of that section. Never seen anything like it, so it goes to show how much people steal.
You have got to be kidding me. Do you have to be 18 or older too? The ice cream makers need to put seals on their ice cream
Does it? I haven't been inside that store in months. The way they had to remodel the entire clothing section so that it only has one exit spoke volumes. I hate to be an elitist and agree with those who say that its proximity to the MAX hub is the primary factor in that store's decline, but I think there's a lot of merit in that position. The Fred Meyer on 148th and Division doesn't have anywhere near the same degree of issues.
Totally agree. I also had to ask for help to get a $20 sleeping bag from behind a locked case there. That store is going to have everything locked up soon.
It’s stupid man, after working retail for 2 years the shit I saw in that time was astounding. It’s not surprising, just deplorable, that not only will people steal - they will also lie about it, and then come back and do it again. Definitely some interesting stories; the most interesting was probably the time two individuals came in with a claw/hammer and ripped the doors off of the gaming console case and proceeded to take EVERYTHING, then run out the outdoor emergency exit; leaving a trail of electronics behind them as associates tried to stop them. There was another dude with a cart full of Nike shoes that I chased out of the store one time; they dropped boxes as they were throwing shit in the get away car, I was on their ass and they were halfway out of the car trying to pick them up as it peeled out and sped off. Dude almost got his foot ran over by his own buddy. I’d let them know that they shame their entire lineage with their illegal actions and general lack of etiquette for a functioning society.
I read that the FDA said this is a new requirement. Which means manufacturers will need to purchase new machines to do so (raising the cost of ice cream for the consumer), meaning more plastic in our landfills. But on a positive note one of my friends did share this on Facebook the other week.... https://www.upworthy.com/scientists...stic-and-believe-it-could-clean-our-landfills
I swear I am not stalking you, I swear. You just have the posts I want to respond to. Anyways...... I have never understood why there aren't seals on ice cream containers. It's almost like they were asking for this exact thing to happen with the girl. I hope this is the thing that makes them use seals now.
Walmart did that years ago at the Clackamas 82nd ave location. They also have security at the doors rather than your normal senior citizen waver/greeter.
You don't have to be an elitist to know certain stores in certain locations have more theft than others. The Fred Meyer on Foster and 82nd had a ton of theft problems. They finally closed that location.
I’ve walked into Walmart, went into the deodorant aisle, put on deodorant, put the deodorant down and walked out. I’m not proud of it, but it happened nonetheless. I was a teenager at the time, stunk, and was going to meet girls. Fuck Walmart.
There's nothing wrong with MAX. It works well, except in the ice. The riders, on the other hand... barfo
