So how has your teams offseason gone? The pros? The cons? Draft? Trades? Sum it up.I think Cowboys had a basic average offseason. I mean hell, when Bledsoe retires, that is one successful offseason. Leonard Davis was probably the best add for Cowboys. It was tough not seeing Larry Allen on the line after all those years, Davis should help. Ken Hamlin was a great add. Hamlin will be the cover guy. While that makes Roy Williams the more on the ball and rush safety. For the draft it was pretty bad for Cowboys. No WR was drafted and CB's were not drafted until Sunday. Pathetic. But I'm stoked as hell for Cowboys next years draft pick.Just made this topic because I'm extremely desperate for NFL talk
Them Nolia Saints been handling their business this offseason! In free agency, we scored on Jason David who will most likely start right away and take the spot from slow Freddy. In the draft, Robert Meachem was a nice pick at the end of the first round considering that they needed defense but had somewhat of a need at WR with Joe Horn leaving. The rest of the draft was solid as well; we got good depth on the offensive line with Andy Alleman and Usama Young can hopefully help us shore up the cornerback situation. OTA's are looking good, everybody is in shape (but Meachem who will be out for a few weeks) and hopefully we can make that final push next year. I know people could really use the excitement, for sure.

I'm a Titans fan, and I don't think our off-season could have gone much worse so far.1. Pac Man messes up for the 100th time and gets himself suspended for the whole season. This is no help to the team because he was big for us last season bringing momentum to the team with big special team returns. For some reason, he decides to appeal the suspension too. Can he not stop messing up?2. Vince Young does the Madden cover. We all know the curse, and Vince knows the curse. Yet, he still decides to do it, saying he doesn't believe in it. Hopefully, he will reverse it.3. We totally screw up in the draft. We didn't need a safety. We are good at safety with Hope back there. We needed to draft some wide recievers that Young can throw to, and some good ones were avaliable. We could have gotten Meachem (my personal favorite who I wished would have stayed with the Vols for his senior season), or Jarrett, but no, we take Griffin. All in all, I give our off-season a -2/10 so far. We were looking to build off of our surprise season last year where we were 1 game out of the playoffs, but our off-season hasn't helped at all.
I like what my steelers didcowher finally left, so now that means our younger talent will finally get a chance to prove themselveswe got young up and coming coach that was thought by dungy, and from what his former players have said about him it seems like he'll be with the steelers 10+ years, and the way the rooneys roll that's not out of the picture at allwe let go of porter, while I think he is a very good player, he's not worth the money he wanted and his potential hold out could've been a problem so it was a good dicission to let him go......... I have all the faith in the world in james harrison, everytime he has had a chance to start he has produced at a high level, while he doesn't have the mouth porter has he has the same talent as him so there won't be a drop off stat wisewe didn't sign no big names or anything, our only legit signing was mahn from the bucs, he's a center/guard......... he's competeing with okobi for the starting center spot right now, but can be used to replace faneca next year at guard if he doesn't win the starting center spotI loved our drafttimmons is gonna be very good for us rushing wisewoodley will become beastly for usthe tight end we drafted in the 3rd round confused me at first, but from what the coaches have said, we are gonna be airing out the ball a lot, so that means heath miller will finally show why we drafted him in the first round a couple of years ago, and this new guy will be blocking and making short catchesI love the pick of the punter in the 4th, one of our biggest weakness is special teams, now we have a 2 time ray guy award winner punting for us, the dude is a beast, he walked on as a line backer for baylor, so he can lay a hit on someone, y'all should see his tackle in baylor, laid the punt returner outthe rest of the draft was good, I don't know much about the other players, except for dallas baker in the 7th round, he should add nice depth to our wr core and be a nice addition to our redzone offenseright now faneca is being a bi*ch thinking he's gods gift to offensive guards, but he'll walk at the end of the season, I would've liked seeing us trade him and getting some picks but oh well can't have everything lolI can't wait to training camp in july, what sucks is we have to play 5 preseason games cause we play the saints in the hall of fame gamemy outlook for next season is about 9 or 10 wins, hopefully that'll be enough for a playoff spot, but even if it isn't, it would've been a good season just because cowher ain't here, and it would be good for tomlin to start off with a winning record.......... I also expect ben to be back to his 2005 form...........damn I can't wait for the season to start
Steelers are going to suck. They will lose game 1 to them Brownies too!My Browns had a nice off-season, once again. Drafted Joe Thomas, Brady Quinn, Eric Wright. Signed Eric Steinbach, Jamel Lewis. Those were the big two we signed, and we got a few defensive linemen. Pretty good job of upgrading, but we are far from going anywhere, anytime soon. But hey, Go Browns and I can't wait for the Season to start. [52, going on 51 days till Pre-Season]
Other than passing up on Brady Quinn, the Dolphins did good in the draft. I like the guys we got even tho I wouldve liked Stanton in the 2nd instead of Beck.I hate that we gave up McMichale and didnt really get a replacement but we added two big impact players on each side of the ball with Jerry Porter and Trent Green. Im pumped for this season too, I think the Dolphins will finally return to the playoffs.I probably forgot something we did this off-season because the off-season has seemed like it has taken forever.
I give the Colts an A-I was dissapointed they didn't go after big name free agent defenders but our draft was great, there's no doubt in my mind that our draft picks and current players can make up for our loss of our starting defenders. And with Peyton Manning there, well, nothing is impossible
