I'm sure all of you have heard the song "Goin' Down" by Yung Joc on whatever local radio station you listen to. I know I have anyway, and I was like, ah, its alright, mostly the same stuff I hear 24/7 now, but I decided to check out the CD and its actually suprisingly good. You guys gotta check out these two songs, both have good beats and the lyrics in the second one are pretty good. You might be skeptical, but check it out.Links:Yung Joc - I'm HimYung Joc - Hear Me Coming

Why does everyone like that song? I personally can't stand it and it is way overplayed.

In all honesty, this sounds like 95% of the other crap that makes it to the radio. Like everything else on the radio, it usually isn't very good and neither is this.

Im just glad someone is finally reppin college park, funny to see a place where you've been repped, its not compton, but its a pretty ghetto area, surprising more rappers havent come out of there. Young Joc is the sh*t.

Compton isn't that bad, I live in Long Beach and they're border cities. The Wattz is probably the worst. Southern California and even the oakland still probably has the worst ghettos but it's nothing to be proud of.Alot of the southern ghettos are just rundown.

Yung Joc its terrible. For a southern rapper, hes solid, but overall, he just sucks.

This is what gives rap a bad name. It's not even rap. Guys like Young Joc, Young Jeezy, etc. aren't rappers. They are losers who had a bad life, but make club bangs for millions.

Underground rappers are considered better because they don't care about record sales unlike 50 Cent who wants to promote his newest album as much as possible.

Exactly. Most underground rappers are the best rappers. Not only are they usually the better lyricists, but they actually rap. What pisses me off is, people will start off all hard and act tough in front of the camera, then either just make club songs or turn pop. Look at Nelly, perfect example. Country Grammar had some nice songs on it, and he really rapped. Look at him now, he made a song with Garth Brooks and Justin Timberlake and everything he does is a club bang or a pop/love song.
