How do look at a day like yesterday? You have a lousy day at work and get rearended. Crappy day or great day. My first inclination was crappy day, but then I saw a picture of the car. Perhaps it's the type of incident that keeps things in perspective.

    Glad he's ok.

It looks like it wasn't his fault.

Depends. Was he driving the Dodge pickup? If so, he obviously doesn't covet ZT.....

Now the truth finally comes out!!!!

When Thomas got out of his car after the accident on the Florida Turnpike as he was driving home after the loss, he went to check on the passengers of the truck that rear-ended him.

They were all wearing Patriots jerseys.

'I just said, `This could not get any weirder,' '' Thomas said. ``It's been crazy, man. It's just been a strange year.''

Remember, this game was played in MIAMI!

So, some yahoos wearing Pats jerseys in a pickup rear end ZT's Mercedes. Further, They are going fast enough to give ZT whiplash. Pretty interesting when you consider how well Mercedes are allegedly built.

Zach checks on them to see if they are okay. Mighty sportingof Zach IMO. This is more than weird, its creepy. In the context of posts 5 & 6, its bordering on conspiratorial.

This story is getting worse. Zach is starting to suffer from whiplash symptoms and probably won't play against the Giants.

Well, at least it happend during a season that is written off... I'm sure he'll be good to go by next year... Now here's the big question.... Do the Dolphins draft a replacement for ZT or do they draft a QB?

    1. I don't think the concussion issue is going to go away for Zach. It seems to me that when an athlete starts having problems with them, then they keep having problems with them. Zach should consider retirement. He's had a nice, long career. Football, as great as it is, isn't worth the loss of brain function.

    2. The Dolphins just drafted a QB. They need to see what he can do before they draft another.

    3. The Dolphins have so many needs that they really need to draft the best athletes available while trying to focus on defense.

Miami should draft J Leaman of Illinois, Maluga or Rivers (USC) as Zach's successor.

They should get a QB in case Lemon and/or Trentis not back next yr. My preference would be Paul Smith of Tulsa on day 2 or as a UDFA.

If the 1st part Miami's draft were to be as follows; 1) Dorsey LSU, 2a) Talib CB Kansas, 2b) Tamme TE Kentucky, & 3)J Leaman LB Illinois then I would be very happy.

Groves from Auburn or St. Dic from Michigan as a DE/OLB would be good as well. Consider Groves or St Dic andA Wright (drafted in 07) as successors for J Taylor & Porter and the D is infused w/ youth and speed once again.

If the Dolphins need another QB to replace Trent Green or Cleo Lemon, might I suggest Casey Printers? I don't think he's on anyone's roster. He should be the Chiefs starting QB, but Carl Peterson is an idiot.

If Miami can hold out a year or two Brian Johnson from the U of Utah (bA's Alma Mater) is available.

The offense Urban Meyer installed here is not the same w/o BJ running it.
