Zach Lavine?

I’m surprised how down people are on Lavine. I have no idea about this scoping of his knee but outside of that, I always thought a 27 year old 6’5’ 25-5-5 freak would be fun. Maybe a change of scenery would elevate his game, going back to the NW and playing with Lillard who everyone knows has a huge sense of urgency to win now. Im thinking it’s like a Derozen type growth year for him.
LaVine makes a lot more sense than Ayton does. He’s a bigger Simons and fits better next to Dame, theoretically (not saying Ant is necessarily a bad fit)
Getting LaVine means there's no need for Ant. Clunky fit with Dame/Ant/LaVine all having essentially similar strengths and weaknesses.

And if we were to choose, I'd rather have Ant at 20-25 mil than LaVine at 30-35.

According to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, the possibility of Zach LaVine heading elsewhere is “very much in play.”
Johnson said that the safe bet remains LaVine returning to the Bulls for next season, but there was a caveat: “I’m just reporting what I was hearing at the Combine – and that is multiple people connected to other teams, agents, etc., the chatter at that Combine, the representation of that chatter is that Zach is very much in play,” Johnson said.

adding Lavine. We already have what he'd be bringing. We currently have much less production at the 3/4 position.
agree, its ridiculous to think about Lavine when we have Dame/Ant/Hart as guards, we want/need wings/a PF that can play 2-way ball. Chi/agent or whoever is just blowin the usual smoke we see a lot of this time of year

While LaVine is very talented and he would help ANY team he is on WHY would the Blazers trade one guard to get another even if he might be a little taller and such.

This does not even factor in Ant and Hart --- this rumor or whatever you want to call it belongs ONE place --- a garbage can

NEXT .........

Herro + change and Miami's picks seems like a better package for Lillard, then Zach LaVine + rando Bull and the pick Portland owes Chicago.

never in a million years would Joe sign ZL when this team is in rebuild mode. that person isn't very bright

The Lavine story was brought into the world (again) to show that the alternatives to the Heat package arent great.

Fucking hell you people overthink things
We do not, or wait, do we? Let me think about it.

However, one thing we DO know is that Damian rearranged is "I am Dan".
Lillard rearranged is "LDL Liar"
Put it together and it's "I am Dan, LDL Liar"

which clearly means that his real name is Dan, and that he changed his name in order to fake a blood test.

Have any of you guys seen a verified blood test from Lillard?

This is either brilliant or you should put the lsd away

Trade away Dame for another guard? So our 4 best players would still be guards..... WTF is up with Cronin and guards?

Last year we had DameAntHartSharpe and Cronin throws the full MLE hard cap on a 5th guard whose 6'3"

I'm wondering if Cronin was the one pulling the strings on Olshey having 4 guards with DameCJAntNorm..... we seem to always setup the team that way and if anything have had even more guards since Joe took over from Olshey.

I was fine picking Scoot as a guard since it was clear BPA.... But targeting a star guard in a trade when your top3 players are already guards is asinine.

Scoot/Sharpe or Ant/Levine/Grant/Nurk???

That would be one fun lineup to put on the floor. I'm in the minority, but I like Levine's athleticism, his mid-range, and his ability to create. Replace Ant and Nurk with a big body rim protector/rebounder and things look interesting. I'm seeing Levine listed as a SG and SF. We've played a 3-guard lineup quite a bit, and running the ball will be key.

lavine is guard/small forward

LaVine is most likely going to be a Sixer.

This dude called the Paul Reed -> Utah thing about an hour before it happened.

Also this:

Combine this with the "What are the Sixers up to??" bullshit from Windy in the last few days. I think this is likely to get done.
