And totally fucking deserves it. Suck it, haters. All the people who called him StatBo and said he could never help a team win can eat crow starting now. I see Zach on the roster and I do not see Aldridge. I also notice that we have more losses than the Grizzlies.

    Congrats, Zach!! Well deserved.

Randolph has been a dominant force since his first couple of years in the league, and it was only a matter of time before he got named to an All-Star game. He has helped the Grizzlies turn into a potential playoff contender - but he hasn't done it alone. Marc Gasol and Rudy Gay - to name just two have had a hand in it, not to mention that other former Blazer who happens to coach that team.

Am I annoyed that Randolph is no longer a Blazer? No. I was suspicious of the move at the time, and am not surprised that he's flourished. He's even grown up a little, which he probably needed to do somewhere other than Portland.

And am I disappointed in Aldridge? Yes. But it doesn't make me miss Randolph. He had to move on to grow up. Aldridge needs to stop thinking, and start attacking inside (much like Randolph used to do). If Aldridge had a little more Z-Bo in him, that'd be OK with me. But not too much.

The Oregonian liked Zach in comparison to Sheed and Bonzi. Once they were gone, the paper turned on Zach, like some hungry monster that is impelled to destroy, destroy.

Once you start a witch hunt, you just have to keep finding more witches...even if it means redefining what a "witch" is.

Yep! Everyone was going on and on about how Zach is better than Sheed. Works harder. Rebounds better. Scores inside. Then Sheed leaves and everyone turned on Zach.

Congratulations to Zach. If he was able to learn from his own history, and from the history of guys like Bonzi Wells, kicked from team to team despite his talent, and finally mature into a solid team player and locker room guy, that's great. I don't hate Zach. Trading him at the time was the right thing to do.

It's easy to say the Blazers could use him now, of course they could, the team is decimated and has no true big man aside from a 37-year old and LMA, who is more a tall small forward. Hell, the Blazers could use damn near anyone with a pulse and healthy bod right now. Does not mean they should have signed them all 3 years ago.

It does not have to be a "I win you lose" or "you win I lose" situation. Trading Zach enabled Roy to develop into the clear leader on the Blazers. And after several trades Zach found himself. Long may it last, for both. Everyone won.

Roy was already the leader of the Blazers when ZBO was here.

I shouldn't respond to trolls, but do you want a prize? I know you watch the Blazer games - is not having Stat-Bo the real reason we have more losses then Memphis - or could it be the insane amount of injuries that we've experienced while the Grizzlies have been healthy all year?

    GTFO.
