I just read that Zach had surgery for a torn meniscus and will be out 6 weeks. As I calculate, that will be about 2 weeks before the season starts.

I could not determine exactly when he was injured. It would not make much sense to do it during one of the QB schools and training camp has yet to open.

Why was one of the top MLB's in the game running a cone drill to test his lateral mobility? It would seem that lateral mobility is pretty much skill# 1 for LB's. I am just glad it wasn't an ACL or MCL.

I'm surprised it is taking 6 weeks for his Meniscus. He must have had some cut out for it to be that long. I had mine done a few years back and was ready to go in 4 weeks (and I'm nowhere in the same universe of physical shape a Z. Thomas is) and have heard of hockey players getting theirs done and being back the next week. Mine was only repaired though. They did not have to cut any out. I think they're either are hiding something or he had a good piece cut out.

According to another article, it appears some bad tissue was removed. Zach's condition will be re-evaluated at the start of training camp.

thats what I figured BA cus Hockey players get that repaired like candy and play within a week or two thats why I knew he had to have some removed. Me and Zach will have something in common in 20 years. PLASTIC KNEES!!!

Golly Pats37...You and Marino have that in common now. (Sorry, that insult intended for DolfanDale. Any other animosity created was not intended.)

Hey hey hey! We, as members of the Jack Bauer conference, need to negate the fighting among ourselves so we can divide & conquer those other chumps (I mean participants).

Sorry bA. Dale is a few years older than me, and the lack of mobility toward the end of Marinos career was a natural wellspring of jokes for me. Of course, the Bauer division will rule. I have every team in the division making the playoffs!

Don't worry, I heard my share of jokes about recycling San Fransisco QBs too. Which I usually followed with. You know Joe has 4 rings...which led to passing records and stats which led to winning the big one being the true measure of a QB....blah, blah, blah. Thinking back, we were lucky it didn't escalate into violence!
