Mavs forum is officially boring, for me atleast. Just talking about game after game...day in day out. YawnI got a rumor. Lets get involved with the Iverson trade. No not Iverson himself. Since Nuggets seem to be front runners with getting Iverson. I'd like to see us get involved. But since the Nuggets/Knicks brawl, lets hope the trade isnt on hiatus. Btw, Iverson is killing me on fantasy. Rok and I discussed this a little earlier. Plain and simple, lets get Najera back in Big D. Najera comes to Dallas, we send Croshere to Philly. Maybe Denver, I dont careThoughts? Good idea? Yes? No? Maybe I take Najera to serious?
I'm all for Najera returning, I just want something to happen right now. I'm bored as sh*t as there's nothing to talk about for Mavs.
The mavs don't need anyone here except maybe to get a scorer (not Stackhouse) to come off the bench. Harris was that player but now he's starting so now someone else needs to take over. Jamison would be nice right now.

That was why he was traded the following season. Also, he plays the same spot as Dirk and Howard. I agree on a scorer though. Especially with Stackhouse's impending free agency. Our bench has no real offensive threat.
I agree, maybe I'm not making enough topics in here as Team Leader, but I've just ran out of things to talk about. I'd love to aquire Najera. Great defender, but only problem with me is that he is like Diop, only 6-8 and not 7-0 and plays PF. It would take some offense away as well. Only problem with me.I agree that the offense gets stagnate when the starters arent in there. No one on the bench is a go to scorer except for Stackhouse, but it doesn't help when he is on the court with 4 5th option players. I'm not saying we need to go out and get a number 1 option, but maybe someone who can help him off the bench. to me it seems that golden state has a few extra wing players that arent getting into the rotation like they could somewhere else. I think Mike Dunleavy, Mikael Pietrus, Matt Barnes, or even Jason Richardson would be for the taking with the right players. Now if we traded for Pietrus, that would give us a good 2nd option behind stackhouse on the bench. We could trade a combonation of Diop, Croshere, Buckner, and Anthony Johnson. I would preferably trade Diop and Buckner for Pietrus and a filler or a pick. dont know what the numbers would be at, but I think that would be a pretty good trade on our part. Maybe not on thiers, but oh well. I think they would want us to take on either Dunleavy's contract or want Stackhouse's expiring deal.I think we could really trade Diop away. I know he does all the little things, but DJ Mbenga can do them just as well. He's also more athletic and to an extent better of the offensive end. Another place that we could move Diop to would be Toronto. They arent exactly happy with Raasho's play at center and we all know that for whatever reason, Morris Peterson is in Sam Mitchell's dog house. That could be a great place. Just some thoughts.
I like Mbenga but he is not close to Diop's level imo. Dampier can't be relied on forever since he is getting up in age. Unfortunately after Diop the other players on the bench aren't worth much.
