and we have the exact same record (11-8) as the San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks. Would anyone have imagined us having the same record as ONE of those teams, let alone three, nearly 1/4 into the season?

It is definitely great, but a lot of it has to do with those 3 teams under performing and having injuries as well.

It has more to do with the Nets doing well...and why not mention Harris was out for three games and the bench has been decimated by injuries, with Boone, Najera, Swift and CDR all missing more than 10 games. If Harris plays those three games, the Nets might be 13-6 right now.

I remember a thread where someone talked about the Nets having a better record than the Mavs this year.

Here it is. It was Dumpy.

wow--great memory. I would have said you were crazy. Oh, but you know what, I think that I wrote that when the Mavs announced that Antoine Wright was competing for a starting spot, which was a red flag!

With the team still getting better with each game, it looks like we're going to top the (even my) most optimistic predictions. From recent comments, even Kiki and Thorn are surprised. :ghoti:

Better than the Mavs cause they just lost, and JKidd is playing second fiddle to a midget.

Mavs are 11-9 after losing in double OT to San Antonio
Spurs 12-8 now.
