Whatever happened that day, you just killed a 17 year old kid. Forget for a moment the laws, the circumstances, the biases, the prejudices. You just killed another human being. The world is calling for your arrest, your death, your elimination. You have your defenders, but the outrage over the incident is eventually going to snowball into, righteous or not, a lynch mob that you will be lucky to survive from.
What's going though your head? Even if you believe your life was threatened (by the presence of a teenaged black kid in your gated community) and Florida law protects you, how do you deal with the knowledge that you shot and killed someone, and the world is screaming for your head on a pike?
