I just don't see how either of those guys' workouts would really move them ahead of a big body like Drummond. Beal, maybe. But I can't see it with Barnes.
The key for Barnes would be to show more athleticism and an improved handle. If he can show that, plus some aggressiveness and still hit a bunch of shots, he could look very tempting for someone looking for a wing. I have to believe Drummond won't tank his workouts and their will remain a big gap betweein 1-5 and 6-15.
Not that I think he is an expert but I was surprised at how much Mice Rice said his son (Rutger's coach) didnt like the guy (Drummond) and had known him for a long time. He also said how much he likes MKG and Robinson. For the record I like how Drummond looks but we better have the right coach if he needs direction or motivation if he is as Mice Rice Jr says he is.
No dentistry. No proctology (hey, we don't need anyone that soft). No whatever employment in the medical field requires you to take naked photos of yourself.
I will say this. For all his drunk ramblings, Rice knows basketball, and his son seems to be a damn good coach as well
Interesting. I know we have Bird rights and all, but I still think Portland took a huge gamble in not getting Nic signed before the deadline
Tough to say without knowing what was asked for and offered. Also, cutting potentially a good 5 million into our cap space to do it would have been a big negative.
Would it have been? I know Batum's agent has said they won't take what they were asking for before, so in the end this will cost us more money, and it's not like elite FA's are coming here anyway.
I dunno? I just remember seeing that in print somewhere. His agent said they wouldn't come as cheap, or something like that in the off season
Chad Ford said that if Tony Wroten stayed one more year at UW he'll be a top-10 pick. He even said that if he had a better agent he'd be a top-10 pick this year.
