This is semi-OT really, but I know some people would squeal, especially those happy to see the back of him.

Anyone intrigued where he'll end up? Bets? I wouldn't be surprised to see him join LA in San Antonio, myself. But he also enjoyed his role in Charlotte, and they seem keen to keep him (and it would be odd if they weren't). I wonder, though, if he's expensive, if the Hornets might be more open to trading MKG. You have to assume not, but they're pretty tight-fisted, and those guys might be seen as overlapping a bit. (Although Jordan probably remembers "overlapping" with Pippen.)

You know, I've been saying all along that we could've really used a player like Batum last year. And we still could.

It would kill our chances of getting a Gasol. Nic hates the Spaniards.

BNM

It's a shame Marc isn't a FA, I think he'd be a good addition to the team.

Don't they have a thriving French community in Toronto? ;)

Charlotte obviously has the upper hand.

Spurs need to continue to retool but I'm not sure where he fits: shooting guard? Although he has Spurs written all over him, what about the rumors that LaMarCooch wanted him traded, and he was traded to appease The Cooch?

Otherwise, I bet Nic stays east.

I have it on good authority that LaMarcus has 'played [his] last game with that mother fucker.'

I would probably be tired of Batum's shit as well if I had to play with him.

Batum isnt coming back. He already said he was the happiest he has been in awhile or whatever because he likes the way charlotte plays more.

If you desire an inconsistent wing make a max offer to harrison barnes.

I saw him in a talk show yesterday after France's football game. Or soccer I guess I should say

Charlotte is handing Nic a max contract at 12:01 AM.
Do you think Nic takes (a lot) less to go to the Spurs?

Any other team I'd say no chance. But SA has some kind of Jedi mind control. Plus two of his compatriots to whom he has long looked up.

Soon all will bow before the massive global domination of the English Premier League. Plus Barca and Real Madrid, I suppose.
I'll never bow before a sport played by greasy Eurodouche floppers who find it acceptable for a 90 minute game to end in a friggin' tie, lol...

Your job will be to die off, then, because it's coming.

And I never really got the complaint about the score. There's a reason you don't interrupt the flow of a "soccer" game for endless commercials - it's the flow that's the point. An ex-roommate of mine once asserted about basketball: "there is no rational reason to watch any but the last 5 minutes". Is he wrong? If so, it's for exactly the same reasons you are.

Charlotte played better in the playoffs when he was injured. Hard to see a cash strapped franchise pay a player like Batum who doesn't really make them better the supermax.

Well, that's one job we're all eminently qualified to do. And the flow of well-played soccer is beautifully elegant. Right up until someone feels a tug on their "kit," (lol...) and goes down like he's been shot. And ties blow, period.
