I'm giving him until next year. The thing that terrifies me the most is a panic trade at the deadline. We are a one and done team so there is no reason to panic and make a bad trade just to make a trade. In the summer will be the best time for NO to make a move and if we go into next year with a very similar roster then there is a problem.

The only thing Olshey must do is trade Plumlee. Letting him walk this summer for nothing (which they almost certainly have to do because of the luxury tax implications) just isn't acceptable. Barring that, he's got to unload some guys like Crabbe or Leonard to justify keeping him.

You mean...being at the luxury tax threshold means we can't afford Plumlee? Overpaying an "asset" means we will have to lose an "asset" for nothing?

    Denny lied to us!!

I am on board. Get rid of him. Dude talks a big game, doesn't back it. Talks his actor game to get Blazer fans hopeful and it works but while New fucking Orleans is out trying to get a center, a position we desperately need an upgrade at, neil isn't doing shit. Fuck em

Getting Turner back soon and have a favorable schedule down the stretch. That Nurkic and #1 for Plumlee looks great. Our GM is pretty good!

The same GM that tried to max out Chandler Parsons?

Was there ever evidence that he tried to max him out? I thought I heard that we paid Turner exactly what we offered Parsons.

Lets be honest. He fell ass backwards into Nurkic. That trade was a move to land a pick for Plums. NO essentially said as much

No way he makes that deal without a center coming back.

So do you count kicking the tires on a vehicle as making a purchase?

The guy also drafted Lillard and CJ, but keep looking for excuses to minimize the work Olshey has done.

And I read that when he got his offer from Memphis, we told him to take it. That we wouldn't match.

If Nurkic was signed in the summer no one would be complaining so shut the hell up and be grateful.

Turner was also a good signing, I don't give a fuck about his contract. Our team is better with him on it.

I love how there's always an excuse when Olshey makes a good move (he lucked into it! BUCHANAN picked him! Who else was he going to pick!?! He had no choice!), but all the "bad" moves are 100% on him
