Same as BonesJones. That really is an easy slate--so many home games and "easy" road games. Clippers at home, Nuggets at home and Jazz on the road are the main "W"s that I could see becoming "L"s, but I'd make Portland the favorite in all three.

If they go 11-11 over the softest part of the schedule, you should be predicting well under 43 wins for the season.

None of those predicted losses are silly. It would certainly portend a crappy season, but that 11-11 pick isn't ridiculous.

My "trap game" prediction would be the Pelicans. They have no worthwhile depth, but if they can figure out how to get Davis and Cousins to play like wrecking balls at the same time, they'll be a handful and could jump up and win any single game.

That Philly loss is a bit outlandish too IMO.

I don't think we lose to Denver, but they did add Paul Millsap to a team that wasn't far different than ours in ability, and we didn't add anyone but rookies.

Philly is basically unscouted with Simmons and Fultz. If they gel quickly, they could be tough. Plus, we always seem to have trouble in Philly, even when they're terrible.
