You guys have been wanting a Giannis... Olshey says "Here ya go!"

Portland now has the 13th pick from the 2016 Draft (Papagiannis), and the 17th pick (Baldwin).

So, if all our bigs get into foul trouble like they did last night, would you guys wanna see Meyers or Georgios play?

Why in the name of Sam Fuck

So Rush is gone

Gotta meet the league min of 14 on the roster (2-way contracts don't count). Trading Vonleh put us at 13. So, look for a revolving door of guys on 10-day contracts going forward. These will all be prorated min contracts that will keep us just under the tax threshold.

Why a center?

So they can move Meyers to small forward where he'll get more minutes to take advantage of the team leading swish3 shooter to make about 6 additional 3 point shots. This adjustment can help the Blazers toward the 112 points/game that would likely mean wins. It does not make sense to me to leave this talent on the bench.

Makes sense to me.....

Why not just sign Rush to another 10 days

The blazers might as well just sign members of S2 to 10 day contracts. It'd be a dream.

This is a great signing. No risk with possible high reward. Papagiannis is 7’2”, can really shoot the ball, and is only 20 years old.
