I am a liberal. I consider myself a conservative liberal, close to moderate. That said my political leanings will in no way influence my moderating. The rules are the rules. If you break them liberal or conservative, you will hear from me. I will be fair and objective. I will take all complaints seriously. I will not outright dismiss them. I believe the other mods uphold the same ideals even if it doesn't always seem that way. @SlyPokerDog @Strenuus and @PtldPlatypus put up with a lot. Being a mod isn't easy. You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all the time. I know some of you are afraid I'm just another liberal mod who is going to come on here and let the liberals do whatever while censoring conservatives. No. I will call everyone out on their shit. Hell you know I love to argue on here. I want this to be a diverse forum. I also want accountability. Let's do this
Sly I have a serious question. You know @MARIS61 won't read your post. Therefore why defend yourself? You've posted his disclaimer multiple times. All Maris does is roleplay and play the victim. He even did it in this very thread. You as a poster have no need to defend yourself.

Because this is a thread about adding someone to staff. To ignore his post and not reply would do more harm than good. My reply is for everyone to show that we are trying to be open and fair. Also Maris' post gave me the opportunity to show what I look for in adding staff to the forum. Also it showed everyone that I can be an ass and will own it when it happens.

I think everyone including myself realize the mods do try and be fair. Sometimes they fail, certain staff like you. Admit when they fail. Others don't. Which is fine. My two cents is, due to your history of admitting when you're wrong. You as a poster/member/mod of this site don't need to defend yourself to a roleplay account. Simply because the roleplay account won't accept your response no matter how many different ways you say it. Thank you for the reply though. But yeah I don't think anyone not roleplaying thinks you're being unfair.
But perhaps you can please all the people one at a time. I think we all know who I'm talking about...
