UPDATE:

I was asked by someone in this forum to try separate threads in support and opposition of Trump.

We are always looking for new ways to promote healthy conversation and debate in the forum.

So I decided to try the suggestion.

IT DID NOT WORK.

That is my fault. I own it.

Instead of making it easier for people to share their political views it created more arguments, confusion, and anger that required intervention and action from staff.

I tried something different and it didn't work.

I sincerely apologize for that.
