Why? I don't recall you making such a statement when it came to trump when he was accused of various acts and kept using executive privilige to not turn over documents or allow people to testify.

Yankee, it's not worth trying to engage in actual discussions with certain posters here. You might as well just yell at a brick wall, you're bound to get the same intellectual honesty and integrity out of it too.

Probably good advise Jules...I just don't see why Biden should be compelled to release personnel/personal documents but it's OK for the PUTUS to refuse to release his documents.

But yeah, I think I'll shift my attention to "a brick wall" now. :bgrin:

The hypocrisy bit is wearing thin. As far as I can tell, pretty much everyone who posts here, myself included, is guilty of it from time to time. It's pretty much a part of the human condition that we can see the failings of others (especially those we oppose for political reasons), but not recognize the same in our own opinions (and those we support for political reasons). It seems like time would be better spent actually debating the issues.

Many have shown hypocrisy occassionally, but there are a few that show hypocrisy very frequently and one is all over this thread.

You know what would be really awesome? Is if both parties started condemning the cancerous members of their own. Both in average citizens and as politicians. This goes for both sides, not just leftists and Dems.

I know Ive heard Mags say Trump did stupid things.

We need both parties to start admitting to their own failures. Its the only way to get rid of this divide and start trusting each other again.

Starts as individuals and ends with the President. Or vice versa, IDGAF. Don't expect ANY president to initiate this though. It will only happen by coming from the people first.

I would implore the one or two posters on the left who haven't come out against Biden to do so. To say he should step down if he is in fact guilty. I think one of the posters your thinking of alluded to that.

The right is being called hypocrites because they are on full attack against the left, throwing out the same accusation. It is quite preposterous to go after Biden when there are many on the right who refused to say Trump should be investigated or step down.

At this point both sides are going at in a I know you are but what am I match, and I wish there was more conversation, but that requires both sides to pony up.
 
And it is all over the news and not just on Fox. This is getting a lot of coverage.

I think the confusion is, I do'nt see, at least here anyhow, anyone really going after Biden for this. I see them going after the dems pushing the #MeToo movement to be consistent.

Ive seen a couple Right leaners say Biden is innocent until proven guilty.

Bernie is 2nd, and he should get it, but he won't. The delegates that voted for Biden will go to another centrist like Amy Klobuchar or maybe...maybe Warren.

That's debatable and dependent upon perspective. You think that Mags is hypocritical because he's all over the Tara Reade accusations, but supports a candidate who has a long history of abusive behavior towards women. Mags thinks that you're hypocritical because your reaction and level of proof demanded toward this accuser is way different than what you showed in Christine Blaise Ford's accusations about Kavanaugh.

Don't know if I officially came out against Biden, but fuck him. Guilty or not, I hope he steps down because he's a shit candidate.

And one of those is making numerous negative attacks on Biden. If one truly believes innocence until proven guilty then they shouldn't continue to make posts alluding to his guilt and let the process run its course.

Biden isn't indicted on anything and so far there is no "process" that will run its course.
