The Trailblazers have their fair share of young, energetic bigmen who can score. It’ll be up the Nets bigmen to clamp down the paint to keep Portland out of this game. While the Nets have been playing anything but good basketball, Portland will not be able to exploit all of their weaknesses; no Trailblazer will garner a double team. If Sean can limit his silly fouls, and Magloire can finally be an enforcer, they can take away one of their major strengths. font>

This is a winnable game for the Nets. Even if they have a quarter meltdown, as long as its not the 4th they’ll have the ability to win an ugly game. That’s still a big if, however. I would expect the Trailblazers to give the Nets the same difficulty they had playing the Hawks: youthful energy. One difference: the Nets had Vince against Atlanta.

Honestly, if Vince is back and wecan't pull a win out in this game, we might as well trade Kidd for Kwaaaaaame.

Gonna be the first game I've watched in a week.

All the games I have missed have been losses. Correlation?!

Anyways, I hope for a healthy return of Carter and a beatdown of these rooks!

Man Im afraid that if VC doesnt play, Brandon Roy may really hurt us if he heats up. We dont have a similar *just add water* scorer without vince. Man RJ cant score 45ppg! Step up you bums!

I think Vince will give it a go tonight. And I don't get why Sean Williams isn't starting, especially against the youth the Blazers have up front. Very athletic.

HOly JEEBus I am jet-lagged. Or maybe just tired. Anyway it was awesome to drive out of Newark airport, roll down the window, and smell 'industry.'

So Malik and Collins are starting? Grim. Let me go fix that regardless...
